Montague L Meyer distributes wood based panel products across the whole of the UK Midlands and Southern England. Our wood based product range includes plywood, chipboard, MDF, flooring products, worktops, laminate fibreboard, door blanks, veneered boards and flame retardant panels. We offer plywood for structural and plywood for decorative uses. MDF is a versatile product. Exterior MDF is available for external applications, as moisture resistant MDF is suitable for humid locations. There is chipboard for furniture as well as flooring applications. For furniture making we have melamine faced chipboard, veneered chipboard and veneered MDF. Veneered boards are available pre-lacquered to special order. Our laminate and worktop ranges are extensive. Solid hardwood worktops offer a premium solution, while our laminated worktops, with furniture grade chipboard core and a double postformed edge offer a more cost conscious option. Laminates and worktops can be used in conjunction with veneered panels. The chipboard / laminate range offers double-edged breakfast bars. Most of our chipboard and MDF carry FSC certification for that guarantee of environmental assurance. Flame retardant panels are frequently required for specification work. Flame retardant plywood and MDF are available in a wide range. Our flame retardant plywood and hardboard will soon be treated to new European Standards and available with a CE mark. We offer a range of plywood for structural use including flooring. All of our door blanks have been fully tested for fire resistance. Most are plywood faced for painting but some are suitable for applying laminate or veneer.
