EPLAN is the leading CAE for electrical project planning and engineering. Schematics or drawings are created quickly and easily working with symbols libraries to IEC standards. Engineering is rapidly developing and EPLAN have products that are developing to meet your needs. New developments and working practices need open and flexible solutions provided by EPLAN. Other systems use either graphical or Object-orientated design methods, EPLAN Electric P8 uses both. Use navigator windows for all your components from PLC to terminal rails configurations. Automatically produce reports at the click of a button inside the graphic window. Additionally interfaces such as ODBC, XML, and Excel allow data to be transferred, to aid the design process and then export data for production process. EPLAN's cross discipline ability allows design of electrical control projects, with data being transferred and used in other packages such as EPLAN Fluid for pneumatic and hydraulic.
