Accellent in Manchester is a division of large American medical device manufacturing and outsourcing organisation providing contract manufacturing and design services to medical and non-medical product manufacturers.The facility at Manchester was set up in 1993 to service the growing UK and European market. Accellents core strengths is precision engineering expertise and applying this to cutting, forming, laser welding, machining, stamping and finishing of precision tubular and machined components manufactured from tube, strip and solid, in volumes from 1 to 100 million per year.
Accellent specializes in the medical device field, but also applies this expertise to aerospace, automotive, electrical, electronics and industrial sectors where precision and repeatability is key. We are currently certified to ISO 9001:2000 and have recently completed the work required for ISO 13485:2003.
