Company Overview

Duckworth & Kent Precision Components Ltd was incorporated in 1975, and operates as a manufacturer and supplier of precision made parts mainly for the aerospace industry. Parts are manufactured to customer supplied specification in a range of materials, using CNC turning & milling machines, manual lathes, mills & drills. When further finishing is required e.g. painting, plating, blasting, grinding etc, we use specialist sub contractors. Our main customers are other engineering companies that supply the aerospace industry and specialist technology companies.
We operate to BS EN ISO 9001:2000, working practices are continually under review with a view to improving productivity and quality of product.
In the workshop we have:- 5 CNC Hardinge lathes - bar feed to 2" max, chucking to 5" max with live tooling on most lathes & 5 CNC Bridgeport milling machines the largest being VMC600 with rotary indexing head, Tesa 3D measuring machine and various manual lathes & mills.
