SG Packaging has manufactured silica gel sachets since 1985. Currently we offer sachets from 0.5grm to 10grm and bags from 25grm to 1 Kilo. Silica gel used conforms to minimum BS2540 on conversion. The desiccant used
for bags is silica gel bead and the bag itself is Bonded Fibre conforming to Mil.Spec dusting and EC use with food requirements. Silica gel packets up to 10grm are
manufactured in EC food approved teabag paper and are suitable be used to protect health food and pharmaceutical tablets. The silica gel is a white, granular crystal. Indicator silica gel (orange to cream) is available for up to 10grm and with 25grm Mats, pictured on our retail site, www.magichem.co.uk. A composite pack is used for indicator sachets so that the indicator colour change is clearly visible.
Magichem was set up in year 2000 for the convenience of those wishing to buy
relatively small quantities of silica gel sachets or bags on line.
