We currently produce work for the carpet finishing, food processing, aircraft and automotive industries and commercial sun beds. We undertake light to medium fabrications in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium. We offer a service second to none and can produce from raw materials to finished items in our workshop, including powder coating, therefore no transport costs to and from finishers, also full control over quality and delivery.

Sorb have recently installed a Prima 4 kw CNC laser cutting machine with a 3m x 1.5m sheet capacity and 14 station robotic tower, they have the capability to manufacture 24/7. In addition to high volume production parts Sorb also produce laser cut and sheet metal prototypes, large and small quantities, for a wide range of customers. Materials cut are mild steel up to 25mm thick, 15mm stainless steel and 10mm in aluminium, they also laser cut zintec, inconel, titanium, gauge plate, phosphor bronze, spring steel and galvanised steel. Sorb have comprehensive machinery, including CNC brake press, Guillotine, tig and mig welding facilities. Sorb are a family business, founded 42 years ago, they are pioneers in offering laser cutting services having introduced their first machine in 1994.
