Food Processing Plant

A food processing plant is a plant where food is processed in some form. It's a commercial operation that creates, packages, labels and stores food for distribution in retails stores or institutions.

Food processing is the way food is handled, cooked, separated and turned into other types of combined foods. A consumer might take several raw ingredients like flour, sugar, eggs and butter and make a cake. This is a type of small-scale food processing.
