A curved-circular profile handle design is unusual but ideal for usage on trailers, horseboxes and other animal transport where the operator is likely to be wearing gloves and require greater clearance than other designs. Typically Elesa have introduced not just one but two variants to enable rivet or screw fixing, as well as blind fixing from the rear.

The M478 and M479 handles feature high stand-off with preferential rivet fixing possible onto light gauge material. This enables manipulation of panels etc as well as use while wearing protective gloves against weather or animal handling problems.
