Motion Control Products Limited introduces the new FAST-BACK integrated digital motor/drive combination offering decentralised speed and position control in a very compact package!

The FAST-BACK increases the designer more freedom in machine layout due to it’s decentralised structure whilst also reducing cost of ownership due to simplified installation, commissioning and service costs.

The FBK range is available in single and three-phase variants (230v) with 2 frame sizes (75 & 100mm) and 4 stack lengths (230-373mm) offering up to 7.5Nm continuous stall torque and 15Nm peak. True decentralisation comes from the integrated motion controller with internal EMC line filter offering the highest level of suppression. Position feedback comes courtesy of a 2048cpr encoder.

Integrated communication via CAN OPEN is included plus MOD BUS via RS232/RS485 and the FAST-BACK is fully-programmable using the intuitive and user-friendly Speeder-One® software interface.

Applications for the FBK unit include food processing and packaging machines, labelling equipment, medical equipment, laser/water jet cutters, pick-and-place and industrial printing machines, wood and metal-working machines.
